Cyber-bully using PHONE + MULTIMEDIA 2012
I notice being a Photographer, I capture the moment of
time and share it world-wide or just private love ones for their own community.
Nowadays modern life are based on a phone, even third world countries has access
to a phone with an internet. We can record anything at any moment. We can look
back in the past by searching for the file or just saving it on our hard-drive.
We can upload a video to YouTube or a photograph on Instagram or Facebook for
sharing our daily life the internet can be friendly but also deadly if we use
it the wrong way.
Youtube, I notice millions of people search for fights or
anything that deal with crime? How do you feel if you see your self in a video fighting someone at a bar? when you realized that person you fought is the person that will interview you for your next job?
In my life, before going to college, I was attending an
urban high school full of fights and problems. I remember a few of my friends record
real fights just to keep as memories or laugher. I remember this also, what if
my friends lost in that fight? Would it be something nice to share to our
future kid or just hidden? Nowadays phone are so construct, that a phone can be
send A.S.A.P. to the internet, without any problem. We can record cops beating
on students, students doing riots, and also people helping people.
All this Multimedia technology, benefit us and display how
the world can be, from any-time of discussion or any places in the world. Our
phone is the magic writing gadget and for us human to record anytime. Our
computer became small and enough to carry to any location and share the world the
true life what many do see or not.
Making all this happen and being careless what we record
or taken photo’s how the next generation cans view Multimedia in the future? Many
people want to live the fast life of technology, “the old is trash and move to
the new”.
Do we blame what we record? Do multimedia becoming more
easy to use for people to record any type of footage? Hopefully people can
see that recording footage can display a community background or an image for a
community; for example, Multimedia can be design to capture power, rebel, revolution
or peace, art, and harmony depend on our random life ETC.
So how can people abuse Multimedia, a tile can be “black
vs. White” or Footage of different gangs fighting each other which will target
youth viewers from both gangs to start their own war in a different location or
even scary, Embarrassing someone on camera and that person being Embarrassed
kill them self, very similar to quote “cyber-bully ” We live in a world full of
conflicts and also can start racism wars on the internet using Multimedia. Will
Multimedia haunt us? Will Multimedia realized that Human abuse the art and the formation
of Multimedia? remember Multimedia need to be power by software or hardware, we Human control it and control the action around us.
ABUSING MULTIMEDIA

A. show how people can be when government are useless
B DEATH and building crazier mob of protestors!
I can go on and on with it, but at the moment my main focuses
are footage of none-peace. The world is getting crazier and having easily
access to Multimedia now, we have to realize this is not a joke to a community
and “the more we abuse Multimedia, the
more we became less human without our valve and moral".
Also Multimedia can show how the world can be and I believe that's the only good part about recording footage to bring someone to justice or a speech with peace, not a silly footage of hate.
