POWER OF A 30MM 1.4
Had a wonderful time photography Kimiya Models in the street of Vallejo downtown. I had work with Kimiya last year and I love it ! The way she does her hair and salon business keep me wanting to change my future into doing Hair ! haha. I wanted to capture not just the hair but the model and emotion that the model give to the camera. I Had study many portraits before I went and shot her models.I each fashion the models put into the scene.
My gear was a 40D Canon SLR camera and a 30mm from Sigma 1.4. I had not use any light gear but very good natural light from the sun which was around 4:30pm. I was very shock how the Sigma lens came out ! I was happy that the lens can capture the colors + exposure well. The macro also did a wonderful job. I had use a 50mm before, but never try out the 30mm with natural lighting. I was amaze and believe that I will cont. to do more work with the 30mm. Last but not lease, Kimya know what she was doing with HAIR of course with 20+ year's in the industry +'her work has been display in Black Hair magazine. I had a wonderful time and cont. to do more business with Kimya Hicks :)
