SD SDHC Card Problems and Fixes (Card Locked, Card Error, No Memory Card, Format Card)
Have an issue on you're card before a photo gig or at a gig? to fast to pull it out to get that capture ? here is a step by step.
My Card isn't working why? whats is the problem?
Side view, enough to fix computer or camera.
If you not familiar with a SD (Secure Digital) problem, there a small piece on the left side of the card that slide up and down. Sometime it can be broken and fell fall ! Photo below
The red square is what causes the card to has an error or "Card write Protected". This work in all SD cards, because all of them has this piece of cheap button that slide up and down. It is upsetting that a card we spend so much cause be broken so quick .

This is the problem ! The left slide button is gone !

Tape will be a good friend to you when this happen.

Put piece of the tape to replace the button.

This is the back view, make sure to have a small piece not to cover the reader.

Side view, enough to fix computer or camera.

The piece of tape is good enough to slide well into my camera.

Magic! now turn on your camera or computer, the piece of tape, just replace the slide button on the left.
